Innovation Transfer from Academia to Industry
YKI has a large global academic network and an outspoken and active role as a catalyst in the transfer of inventions from innovators in academia to industry. The aim is to create win-win deals between the academic partner and industry.YKI´s role in these projects can range from making the connection, or providing skilled consultancy services for feasibility studies as contract work, to taking part in the innovative process of refining of the idea before presenting it to industry.
In the Stockholm area YKI´s role in this context is formalized via a fruitful interaction with Innovationsbron AB, which is supporting a program aimed at close interactions between YKI, Karolinska Institutet Innovations AB, Stockholm University Innovation and KTH Innovation.
