Member terms
The Association is open, i.e. membership can be granted to any company or organization interested in surface chemistry research, which undertakes to fulfil the commitments ensuing from the regulations of the Association and existing agreements.
Hence, membership can be granted to enterprises irrespective of their business affiliation and nationality.
Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is SEK 177000 [2010 and 2011]. It is reduced by 50% for companies with less than 250 employees. The fee for the coming financial year is decided at the FYF Annual Meeting.
Membership Period - NEW!
Rolling 12 month period with a 6 month notification period. Decrased from 36 months by decision at the annual meeting of FYF in April 2010.
All companies within a group qualify as members as long as one of the companies in the group has a membership with FYF.
