Sustainable Research & Innovation

The Association for Surface Chemistry Research, FYF*, invites you to join us for FYF Member
Days 2010. This year’s theme is Sustainable Research and Innovation: we will explore how a
cleantech perspective can drive business opportunities in both new and well-established industries.

This year we will take Member Days home by inviting you to YKI’s brand new conference facilities just next door from YKI’s main operations. We will treat you to a balanced mix of speakers in cutting edge environmental research and successful examples of innovations leading to new opportunities “going cleantech”.

YKI break-through research in the field of applied surface chemistry and its relevance for cleantech will also be presented with specific focus on interfacial materials for cleantech applications, sustainable formulation and smart coatings. As always, there will be plenty of time for meeting peers from industry as well as colleagues from YKI and our partners. The always popular informal tour of “YKI stations” will take place in our newly renovated labs. The tour will include a special emphasis on recent investments in novel technology platforms and our advanced instrument park.
