FYF Member Days
FYF Member Days is an annual conference and meeting place in applied surface and colloid chemistry, open exclusively to FYF member companies.
The concept for FYF Member Days is built on the conviction that member companies get value from having their own meeting place for surface chemistry, with opportunities for interaction between member companies and YKI staff. There should be a balance between talks from industry and academia, with plenty of opportunities to communicate and find new ideas to bring home to every member company.
Sessions
Speakers at the event come from member companies, YKI’s global academic network and YKI. In addition to plenary talks on a general theme the event also includes technical talks in break-out sessions. Themes have been, Connecting Business & Science, From Invention to Innovation - Making Ideas Work, R&D in the Fast Lane, Global Reach- Strategic Needs, Open Innovation and Innovation Transfer.
An international event
Last year the event gathered more than 120 participants from over 40 member companies. The event is truly international with over 60 percent of participants from outside Sweden. FYF Member Days will continue to be developed based on feedback from member companies.
