Within the knowledge centre Codirect industry and YKI join forces to develop architectural coatings with a slow release of biocides.
It is well established that the coatings used today release biocides too quickly, making them vulnerable for microbiological attack. By packaging biocides in porous carriers the release rate of the biocide can be slowed down, providing more durable coatings.
